Dr. Mahshid Farhoumand DDS

Dr. Mahshid Farhoumand attended the University of Homburg/Saar in Germany from 1985-1992 and attained her DDS degree in 1992 and practiced as a general dentist in Germany from 1992-1994. She furthered her education in the United States obtaining advanced post-graduation certificates at the University of California, Los Angeles and the University of Loma Linda from 1995-1997. She received her DDS degree in California in 1997. Aside from English, Dr. Farhoumand is fluent in German and Farsi which makes her unique in terms of communicating with patients from many backgrounds. Dr. Farhoumand has been performing and has rich experience in general and implant dentistry from simple procedures and treatments to extensive full mouth reconstructive and cosmetic smile makeovers. She is constantly updating her dental knowledge and keeps current with the latest dental technology by attending continuing education courses and seminars. Dr. Farouhmand has obtained many additional advanced certificates and licenses in implant surgery, Invisalign, pain management, and laser dentistry.
Outside of her practice Dr. Farhoumand spends her time with her family and friends. Sports, music, and dancing are her favorite hobbies. She also loves to travel and help people in less privileged countries with their dental needs free of charge. She takes pride in being a member of Global Dental Relief which is a U.S. organization helping Third World Countries. Dr. Farhoumand’s trip to Nepal in 2013 was one of her longest volunteer trips where she and many others helped over 850 children, some of whom had never seen a dentist before
